How to use it
- Add photos.
- Choose which metadata to remove. Keeping the colour profile is recommended.
- Clean, then check the verification report for each file.
- Download individually or as a ZIP.
Supported formats
Lossless: JPEG, PNG, WebP. Other formats are skipped.
Limitations
- Removal is per block: GPS lives inside EXIF, so removing GPS alone while keeping camera data isn't offered.
- HEIC files cannot be cleaned safely here and are skipped.
- Hidden data inside pixels (e.g. watermarks) is not affected.
Questions
- Does cleaning reduce quality?
- Not for JPEG, PNG or WebP: image data is copied byte-for-byte. Only metadata blocks are dropped.
- Will my photo turn sideways?
- Not by default — we keep a tiny orientation-only EXIF block so it still displays upright.
- How do I know it worked?
- The output is re-read with an independent metadata parser and the container structure is re-scanned.
